Absolutely amazing chocolates!!

You must joke! Expensive? This is a best chocolate ever

I haven't tasted a very excellent hot dark chocolate before.

So we are sitting in the E. Wedel in Krakow enjoying there wonderful double milk chocolate drink. Here is what occurs to me. On the back of the chairs is this guy riding a zebra holding what appears to be two solar panels (later I found out they were chocolate bars). My question is a Zebra? I don't get a Zebra. What is the significance, chocolate came from the Yucatan, not Africa?

thank you Wedel for a superb chocolate and chocolate-lovers experience. i had the best hot chocolate ever - thick creamy cocoa burst to the max. our party of chocolate lovers from all over the world were most impressed - taste, flavour, service, hospitality which is a credit to you. thank you again. worth visiting warsaw again just for the chocolate drink.

Hi - went recently to manufaktura in Lodz with polish friend and really enjoyed to have a drink and some pastries at local Wedel café ! amazing and was offered some truffles boxes to take home - i just swallowed the last two ones this morning - as a belgian chocolates fan ( you know how good they are here ! ) i was really surprised of truffles so many tastes - for sure i need to be back in poalnd to buy some !

Many years ago Wedel had very good products. Now they are terrible, no good taste and to sweet.

Very good and delicious chocolate. It is a very light chocolate, so you would never feel full of having that.

We visited the location in Krakow June 2011. The best chocolates ever. Brought several home, but wished we bought more. Where can I place an order.

I went to the Wedels's over Praga way the other week and that was great too. Not cheap, but then again the chocolate drinks and chocolates are amazing.

Love their chocolates. My hotel was just a block away from the factory but alas, I did not have time to go there... next time

This is the most famous cafe in Warsaw. Well known for it's famous selection of cakes and drinks. Me and my wife found the cakes to be top class, and the coffee/hot chocolate we drank was delicious, and served in fine style. This is the closest you get to a Viennese cafe in Warsaw. It's always busy and a stylish place to go. Because of the style and quality don't expect it to be cheap, but it's reasonable.

I visited this place in the summer and they do great light lunches too, as well as offering all the great chocolates and drinks.

Your review is correct, this place isn't for those trying to watch their weight! The sweet stuff is absolutely great and the coffee isn't bad either. I didn't go to the one on Nowy Swiat but rather the one near Kabaty but I believe its a chain with a few locations.

Best chocolates ever!!! Especially the lavender ones. Or the balls with raspberry taste.. or actually just all of them. Just LOVE them

Blikl serves excellent food, delicate fresh salads, wonderful deserts and has a good selection of beers. Younger members of the family will also not be disappointed. Blikl in Nowy Swiat is recommended.

This place is expensive period? There are alot of better bakeries and cafes in the Nowy Swiat area to eat at and in Warsaw at a fraction of the price. Service is awful and slow and we definitely do NOT recommend this place?

The most civilized eatery in Warsaw catering to the masses of people interested in a calm repose from the hustle and bustle of daily life. Bravo Blikle!

yes i have to agree there is a bit too much overly-sweet chocolate treats - ask for some bitter, dark chocolate. the hot chocolate is indeed delicious :)

Ptasie Mleczko is horrible! It's just crappy milk chocolate covering a marshmallow. I have no idea how it became so popular in Poland. Anyway Wedel has some really top notch chocolate... try the chocolate drink! Yum!

Great for the weather this time of year. My favorite is the hot chocolate with rose petals - I had never tried anything like that before!

I like to think that Wedel gives a little insight into the gracious world of prewar Warsaw. Very very classy and great chocolate to boot!

I took some American college students to this place....it was excellent...made our trip to Warsaw. A wonderful selection of desserts in the Salon. Highly recommended. We took home a wondeful box of truffles, too. Beats anything in the US.

Ladies and gentlemen, yesterday I bought some bread, a lot of cheese and salami in your delicatess-shop at ulica Nowy Swiat. I need to express my anger: I bought those things for an official dinner of the german embassy, and they ended up in the dust-bin, as one of the cheese, the salami and the bread were much too old! Exspecially if I think of the price I payed, that makes me more than angry. I can\'t recommend Blikle any more if I am asked where to by good food in Warsaw. w weekend kupilem tam pare ciastek. Rzeczywiscie kilka z nich doskonalych. Polecam trufle. Poza tym eklerki bardzo dobre ale niewyrozniajace sie. Paczki podobnie. Generalnie drogo, ale od czasu do czasu mozna sie przejsc. Za 5 ciastek zaplacilem 18 pln.

Chocolate Paradise that makes Ghiradelli back in the States look like Ringling Bros. Ever since my Grandmother on my mother's side of the family brought some of their cakes from New York's Eastern European shops on her visit to California when my sister and I were very young, I was always looking forward to visiting a place in Poland that specialized in the E. Wedel classics. This is the best way of sampling the E. Wedel Chocolate tradition without actually going to the factory. On my first ever visit to Poland and the store a few weeks ago I enjoyed my glass of Mint Hot Chocolate and Chocolate Mousse. To top it off, I brought and sent home several wafer packages. If only grandmother and grandfather could see me now......Dziekuje bardzo.....
