Reviews of Travel & Transport Services in Warsaw
Good service with low prices
Hello, can you please tell me if is possible pay the train ticket by euros?? thank you
You guys have never seen the central train station in Sofia, Bulgaria, it is waaaaay worse than the Polish one, however that doesn't make the city less exciting...:)
When you arrive at the airport resist any offers of a taxi that you receive inside the terminal. Use a taxi from the taxi rank instead, from my experience it will be half the price or even less. If you get the 175 or any other bus into the city centre make sure you keep aware of your wallet and passport as there are often pick pockets at work. It is best to sit down and keep you case/bag in front of you and be aware of who is around you.
Ok this station may not look the nicest, but I find it very functional, easy to get tickets, easy to see where your train is leaving from and at what time. Also you get the benefit of the labyrinth of tunnels that are underneath the station and surrounding streets that are full of cafes, shops, internet cafes, book shops etc. My first impression when I visited a few years ago, was that it felt unsafe, but once you have been there a few times you realise it is just as safe as any station in the UK - maybe even safer.
The new terminal is huge, so make sure you arrive with plenty of time. If you're flying from the old terminal, though, prepare for massive queues!
Good service, and the prices were fair.
Quick in and out, great cars, reliable, reliable, reliable!
So disgusting. I don't feel unsafe here, just grossed out.
I like how close to the centre the airport is - just a 20 minute car ride!
Warszawa Centralna Station would of been great, but when the soviet leader came to visit in the 1970s everyone wanted it to be built for his arrival. So they did... and they built it so quickly that the building started having problems in the early 80s! But never the less its a strange and very good station. Although leaking roofs and tramps and and the horrible smells make it not the best place to be.
They are debating destroying this building! I hope they don't. It just needs a bit of cleaning up. It's an important symbol of Warsaw.
The new Terminal is tres European! Modern and comfortable.
this place is DODGY :) but my Polish granny says its the most authentic taste of how Poland used to be. I kinda hope it never changes for that reason!!
Good service. Useful in a flash. taking car trips around Poland is the way to see it...
This place used to be pretty ghetto. The new terminal is modern and up to date... no more pink decor!
The car was as described and the people there were very friendly, even set us up with GPS so we could get around. 5/5
I always get lost in underground tunels with shops!!
I think it's a sweet building. It just needs freshed up a bit. It would look amazing if it was 'pimped up'. They really need to do something about the smell of wee though
joka car rental were professional and easy to deal with. not so sure about warsaw roads and polish drivers but anyway we survived!
hey stupid - it's marked on their map as well as being a huge ugly building in the center of the city - you really have to be stupid to miss it!
very good service.thanks for all your help !
Not the cheapest I think but was sure everything is all right and the cars are great!
