Hi there! Is it possible to buy a Dowina guitar from you on line ? Thanks ! Laurent
Hello, I have sent you an email, but have not heard anything from you. Please tell me, is it possible to get the music score (sheets) of Maria Szymanowska's "Romance de la Reine Hortense"? Yours Mrs. Toni Bjerremose Denmark
Good coffee shops, especially the one in the shopping centre next to the train station. One of the empik cafes is next to the door as you go into the shopping centre, another is under the train station somewhere and there is another in the shopping centre again up on the second floor next to Saturn electrical. All are good.
I love empik, it has a brilliant range of magazines and newspapers in all languages, books in all languages, cd's, dvd's and art materials and stationary. Whatever Polish city I visit, I visit empik.
This is the biggest and best Empik in Warsaw, and a good place to kill some time and pick up English-language books and magazines. The music selection is pretty generic, though, and CDs in Poland are way overpriced.
If you are a visitor and need something to read, listen to, or watch in the quiet moments of your visit, its the best place to go. Good English selection too!
A little overpriced if you're earning in Zloty, particularly the media section. The English language section is alright.
Pretty much the Barnes & Noble's of Poland - they have a lot of music, movies, and books, but don't expect anything that's too far away from the mainstream. CDs are overpriced, but no one buys those anymore anyway. They do offer a decent selection of English books, as well as guide books.
You have to ask yourself whether you really want 5000 Metallica CDs or 1500 Kajagoogoo's Greatest Hits CDs? Well do you?
The REAL question is, if you DO want that Metallica CD, are you prepared to be treated like a potential thief when you cross Empik's threshold to get it? When you enter Empik, be prepared to be looked at less like a customer than a mob leader's mate on a prison visiting day.
