Wroclaw Coach Station

The main coach station in Wroclaw is located just behind the Wroclaw Central Railway Station, in ul. Sucha. It services both national and international routes across Europe. Due to renovation works, the actual station is now closed and all the buses stop in the temporary station between the three streets: ul. Sucha, ul. Joannitow and ul. Dyrekcyjna. The new coach station with a modern shopping centre and underground stands should be ready by late 2017.

The temporary coach station is reasonably functional and convenient. The inconvenience was minimized, as it is located very close to the proper coach station. The temporary station consists of 14 platforms, an information desk and two ticket windows, where you can buy both national and international tickets. The number of connections hasn’t changed and 65 coach lines still use the station. The main change due to the renovation is the difference in timetables, therefore the city launched a special phone number available 24/7 (703 400 444;  (71) 373 28 46 for international callers), which provides all the details about the changes. You can easily get to the city centre in a number of ways from Wroclaw Coach Station. The first option is going on foot, passing through the railway station and then then going down ul. Kołłątaja. The other possibility is taking a tram or a bus (trams: 0L, 0P, 2, 5, 8, 9, 11, 15, 31PLUS, 32PLUS ; buses: K, N, 110, 113, 114, 120, 122, 125, 145, 146, 325, 406, 409, 602, 612, 900P, 900L, 910, 240, 241, 243, 245, 246, 247, 249, 250, 251, 253, 255, 257, 259 – all the timetables are available here). Public transport will take you virtually anywhere in Wroclaw, including the airport.

There are also two taxi stops, one is next to the entrance of the station, in Sucha street, and the second just in front of the railway station, in ul. Pilsudskiego. As in any tourist city, beware of dishonest taxi drivers! We recommend checking the fares of taxi drivers, and ordering only at reputable taxi corporations. If you arrive by car, there are a few guarded car parks around the couch station, as well as the underground car park of the railway station, which is not expensive and parking spots are not too difficult to come by.
