Editor's review
Wroclaw International School (WIS), governed by the non-profit Foundation of International Education, is Wroclaw's first international school, and was established in 2002. The school educated students from pre-school to grade 10, and enrols over 120 total students from 20 countries. Classes are kept purposely small, from 12 to 18 students, and the main language of instruction is English. The school now has two campuses, a modern purpose-built facility on Zielinskiego Street for grades 5-10, and a second campus at 17 Beyzyma Street for pre-school to grade 4.

A message from Wroclaw International School
WIS is a certified IB World School and only one of three schools in Poland (and the only one in Lower Silesia) offering a continuum of the International Baccalaurete programmes: IB Primary Years Programme, IB Middle Years Programme and IB Diploma Programme.
We chose the IB programme framework because it is based on an attractive teaching model, the main aim of which is to help students to be active thinkers willing to solve problems. The IB offers a continuum of programmes from the PYP to the MYP and IB DP affording students a coherent and progressive educational experience.

Reviews
Very committed staff, lots of educational projects and excellent facilities. We are truly satisfied with MYP :-)
Shortly, The worst private school in Wroclaw, lack of professionalism. No online learning during the pandemic, complete ignorance to parents opinions and requests.
My experience is positive only. I do not understand the remarks of other people here. Comparing to other international schools I know i Poland and other countries this is one of the best my children have visited. Experienced and very reliable principal and staff. My kids are happy there and I can observe their rapid educational progress.
Dear Philip, are your children still attending the school? our sons have just started
Regards
Nathalie
We are moving to Wroclaw in June . We are considering Wroclaw international school or British school. My kids are older 14 and 9 . Can you send me some feedback on the school . Thanks for your help.
Will you comment on your experiences? My daughter is 14 almost 15 and we were thinking about attending this school possibly next school year. ( currently US)
Hi, I'm an experienced teacher of English, who's looking for a position of a teacher in your school. Now I have legal live in Sroda.
I'll be pleased greately to hear from you.
I experienced some unprofessional and mean-spirited behavior from Wroclaw International School teachers. I would learn much later on that this type of behavior had been the norm in the school years before I arrived. I don't recommend any teacher to consider working here.
Hi Ken. Can you elaborate what was bad about the school. I am considering WIS or BISC. Facilities in WIS are much better... what is wrong with it?
Hello Ken, we are moving to Wroclaw and considering BISC or WIS. Can you tell me what is bad about WIS?
Hi Kis, which school did you choose? We still do not know what’s better, BISC or WIS? Do you have some advice? Thank you
Hi, have you sent your kids to WIS or BISC? What is your thoughts about the school please?
The primary education is mediocre, the secondary even worse. There is no structure to most of the curricula, it's mostly 'learning to learn' and similar psychobabble. If you can afford to send your kids somewhere better please do.
What do you mean by psychobabble? IB schools have strict requirements to follow when it comes to curriculum design.
My daughter was attending Wroclaw International School for 2 years. Worst school ever for her my wife would say... Many kids were behaving badly because of incompetence of teachers (lazy/inactive) and the Director has issues with many parents and employees. In my honest opinion, the standard is below average in Primary School compared to other schools. I would not recommend this school to any parent.
Surprising opinion as I consider the IB at WIS is on a very good level
Thanks to the new campus Center of International Education where we can offer many more places our school is growing :-)
Great School. My kids are very happy and the principal and staff are super helpful. Native speaking staff which is not always the case in International schools in Poland!
Totally biased opinion but a 'true' International School. Curriculum designed to meet the diversity of the community, experienced and qualified teaching staff, external evaluation from the International Baccalaureate to ensure we maintain the high educational standards required by IB world schools. The place to be....
Great school with lovely and professional staff. This is our 7th school year here, and my 3 children are satisfied. IB program supports well demands of International families.
GREAT SCHOOL!!!!! Welcoming staff and student body. I have 4 children currently enrolled and the diversity only adds to their growth as people socially and academically.
My kids love this school. For us - the best international school in Wroclaw. Very good international teachers, IB programmes, great building and rich extracurricular offer.
