Play: The Trial

Franz Kafka's "The Trial" (or "Proces" in Polish) gets the dramatic treatment in August from the Wroclaw Contemporary Theatre Company. Boris Szyc takes on the role of Josef K. a man tried and imprisoned for no known reason in this resonant black comedy. This production was adapted from Bruno Shulz's translation from German into Polish, so non-Polish speakers will struggle to keep up with developments.
