Concert: St. John's Passion

Those marking the Holy Week prior to Easter on their calendars may be interested in the religious underpinning of this week's performance at the Philharmonic. However, Bach's St. John's Passion is definitely also for those that just love a masterful piece of music. The Passion tells the classic Easter story from the eyes of St. John in the form of instrumental and choral compositions as well as recitatives and arias.The Wroclaw Baroque Orchestra will be joined by the Philharmonic's choir and several soloists including Philippe Favette as the man of the hour himself - Jesus. Performance begins at 7pm with tickets at 10/20/30 zloty.
