Concert: Us3

Stopping in Wroclaw this month is Us3, the legendary collective of jazz and hip-hop musicians. Their career was off to a flying start in 1992 when Blue Note not only signed them, but gave them free reign over the catalogue. With such an incredible resource Us3's music became heavily sample based, and the result was their biggest hit to date - 1994's "Cantaloop (Flip Fantasia)" which borrowed from Herbie Hancock's "Cantaloupe Island". Let's hope that along with performing their current sound of acid jazz in the vein of St. Germain, fans will also get a chance on April 17th to sing their beloved biddy biddy bop... funky, funky... Concert begins at 7pm with tickets from 79-99 zloty.
