Concert: Chopin, Tchaikovsky, Kurpinski

As part of the Chopin 2010 celebrations, the Philharmonic is putting on two special performances this month, and this one under the title of “Polish Chopin, Polish Performers”. The Wroclaw Philharmonic Orchestra, under the direction of Lukasz Borowicz, will join pianist Krzysztof Jablonski in performing Chopin’s piano concerto no.1 in E-minor. Kurpinski’s overture to the “Castle in Czorsztyn” opera, and Tchaikovsky’s “Polish” symphony no.3 in D-major. Tickets 15-60 zloty.
