Fri 27th
Aug
The Solidarity movement, which was founded in Gdansk and spread quickly throughout Poland and its neighboring countries, led to the toppling of the communist government in Europe. To celebrate the movement's 30th Anniversary, Wroclaw will hold a concert at the location of its first Solidarity strikes in 1980 at the MPK (public transportation) warehouse. Headlining will be 80s rock legends Perfect, Dzem, Lech Janerka, as well as contemporary group Strachy na Lachy.
