Being Sedzia Glowny

Through their career of risky and radical performance art, the two women of Sedzia Glowny (roughly translated to “main judge”) changed the game for Polish art bringing issues of very basic elements of the human experience to the surface with their no-holds-barred approach. The body, gender roles, pain, pleasure - they are all explored by Karolina Wiktor and Ola Kubiak in this exhibition following their works from the years 2001-2009.
