Mozart and Shostakovich

Wroclaw’s Philharmonic Orchestra will be performing a program of two rather well-known and well-loved classics tonight under the direction of Michal Klauza alongside talented Stradivarius-wielding French soloist Genevieve Laurenceau on violin. First up will be Mozart’s final symphony (no. 41) nicknamed the “Jupiter” symphony. Finally Laurenceau will perform Russian composer Dmitri Shostakovitch’s Violin Concerto No. 1. The concert starts at 7pm.
