This Month at the Wroclaw Philharmonic
Along with organizing the Musica Electronica Nova festival and the Leo Festival, the Wroclaw Philharmonic still has plenty going on in its usual calendar. Including:
06.05/ Violins & Timpani: Jakub Jakowicz performs the Beethoven violin concerto in D major with the Philharmonic, with Hadyns Symphony no. 103 closing the programme.
13.05/ Mozart & Brahms via Schoenberg: The Philharmonic is joined by Paul Gulda on piano in performing the Mozart Piano Concerto in D-minor as well as the Brahms Piano Quartet transcribed for orchestra by Schoenberg.
15.05/ French Impressionism: The Wroclaw Philharmonic Choir will perform works by French masters such as Ravel, Debussy, Saint-Saens, and Faure.
26.05/ Lutoslawski Quartet: Joined by pianist Eugen Indjic, the quartet will perform piano works by Zarebski and Dvorak.
30.05/ Jubilee Concert: Wroclaw school choirs with guests will celebrate the 10th anniversary of the Wroclaw Singing Project.
