This particular exhibition at Wroclaw's Ethnographic Museum attempts to illustrate the history of Armenians in Poland since the fourteenth century. They first began to arrive on Polish regions as merchants, doctors, soldiers, artists, and diplomats, and began to make this country their own. This exhibition sheds light on the similarities of the two nations, with their location at the crossroads of trade routes and in a constant struggle for land against neighboring countries. Both Armenia and Poland share a strong Christian faith as well. "With Ararat In View" will display photographs and documents in a space arranged as the interior of an Armenian church.
