Beautiful Like Wire is the latest exhibition at the Ethnographic Museum, exploring the unique history of Slovak wire art and sculpture. As one of the youngest and most important Slovak crafts, wire sculpture dates back to the eighteenth century as an additional source of income for residence of the mountainous regions of north-west Slovakia. This particular exhibition includes over 6000 works collected by the Povaske Museum in Zilina.
