Showcasing hundreds of postcards from the Polish region of Lower Silesia from 1893-1945, Gruss aus was started by the Museum of Art Industries and Antiqueies in Wroclaw. Popular subjects of the postcards include the Great Mountains, a favourite tourist destination of the area, where the first postcard was sent from Snow Mountain on 23 July 1873. In fact, the spot was so popular that as many as 1500 postcards were sold there everyday in the year 1900.
