Classic Modernism: Student of Otto Dix

Taking place at the Historical Museum branch of the city museum (located in the charming Royal Palace), this exhibition showcases the work of German artists Hermann Wiehl (1900-1978). It wasn't until art dealers discovered his works a few years ago that Wiehl became better known, and valued for his contribution to the interwar artistic period. As a student of renowned German expressionist painter Otto Dix, Hermann Wiehl carved his own path in the world of classic modernism.
