Avant Art Festival

Every year, Avant Art chooses a new geographic region to focus its programming on - and this year’s country of honour is Poland western neighbour of Germany. While previous editions have focused on several artistic disciplines, Avant Art remains a music festival first and foremost. Presenting the width and breadth of Germany’s avant-garde music scene will be such events as showcases from labels such as Project: Mooncircle and Raster-Noton. Also performing: Charlemagne Palestine & Perlonex, DAF, Bonaparte, and Defibrillator & Peter Brotzmann. Look for a special film section of the festival as well, showing the best of cutting-edge German film.
