Made In Photo

A Poznan artist, Maciej Mankowski's latest exhibition presents large format photographies dedicated to, generally speaking, human body in motion. Between 1992 and 2006 the artist was engaging female gymnasts and dancers to pose for his pictures, as people who had intense body awareness and could freely direct thir movements. Mankowski's photos are choreographical in style; a type of light and dance-written mythologies.
