Clipper, I would have to reccommend the Sofitel. We booked it direct through the hotel themselves at £50 per night between me & my girlfriend. Exceptional value for a five star, although don't eat breakfast there as it's about 3 times more expensive than you'll find in the square. We went to the Pod Gryfami a couple of times, and it was very agreeable. Beer is very cheap- about 5-7 PLN in most places, around a £1 for 500ml.
