hi expatriate! OK, I had my car stolen a few years ago. I think this is happening less often these days though. My tips - having a foreign numberplate is GOOD (makes it easier for Police to spot), having a poorer quality / older car is GOOD. Alarm, obviously is GOOD. The BEST is to have a right hand drive car! Models most stolen - VW, Opel, Mercedes....
