Editor's review
Famously depicted in the Marek Krajewski's novel ‘Dżuma w Breslau’ (The Plague in Breslau), this hotel has a fascinating story which intertwines with the history of the city itself.
When this intruging building first opened it's doors, it was one of the most luxurious and expensive hotels in Wrocław. Those doors are still open today, inviting guests from around the world to experience the nostalgic beauty of it's walls along with all the comforts and amenities of our modern age. Polonia Hotel exudes a timeless charm from it's elegant features.
The in-house "Galicja Restaurant" is a fantastic choice for breakfast, lunch or dinner - transporting you to the grand age of Galician splendor with its classic decor, traditional music and fine local cuisine.
Location-wise, Hotel Polonia is perfectly situated within the centre of town - walking distance from all the wondrous places that compel you to visit Wrocław. The city's best shops, cafes & restaurants are all at your doorstep, alongside the plethora of historical monuments & buildings, museums, galleries, parks. Just a short walk away are the famous Main Market Square, Cathedral Island, the Opera House and Arkady Mall.
