Regional Center for Business Tourism Opens
The newest addition to Wroclaw's cityscape is the state of the art Regional Centre for Business Tourism, which celebrated its official opening last weekend. The early 20th century building, situated next to the Centennial Hall, was gutted and updated with a modernized interior. The distinctive columns, which were the basis of architect Max Berg's original plans for the space, were used as a guide in the building's expansion.
The stunning new elongated structure is wrapped in glass panels which reflect the adjacent fountain, pergola, and park. Inside the centre, the main attractions are two large spaces, an auditorium and an open conference space, able to accommodate up to one thousand people each. The centre also houses several smaller rooms, a bistro, and a restaurant.
