Registration Open for EU Culture Congress
As Poland winds down its official celebrations for its undertaking of the EU Presidency, it's time to begin planning for the next big cultural event - the European Culture Congress in Wroclaw (8-11 September). During the three-day event over 100 discussions, workshops, concerts, film screenings, and exhibitions will take place, the majority of which are open to the public on a free or first come, first served basis.
Some of the events do require online registration, which will be open throughout the month of July at the Congress website. There are a limited number of seats for many of the events, so its best to register as soon as possible. Registration is required for the following events: Krzysztof Penderecki & Jonny Greenwood in concert, Krzysztof Penderecki & Aphex Twin in concert, and any of the Scary Monsters and Super Creeps concerts, which include performances by: Anika, Faust, Stornoway, Tim Exile, and Wildbirds & Peacedrums.
Alternatively, it's possible to purchase a 25 euro pass which will allow full access to ticket reservations for almost all of the congress' events.
