New Terminal for Wroclaw
An impressive, modern new airport terminal has opened for visitors in Wroclaw, with over 26 000 people having visited the site over its first two days of open door days.
Built in preparation for the UEFA Euro 2012 football championships set to take place in part in Wroclaw (as well as across Poland and Ukraine) this summer, this new airport terminal will help serve the many visitors to the city during this busy time. Wroclaw is also looking forward to acting as European Capital of Culture in 2016.
Starting with serving roughly 3 million passengers per year, the new terminal will eventually be capable of hosting 7 million passengers by the end of the decade.
The terminal will open officially for passengers mid-March.
