Info Point: Wroclaw Helps Foreigners Settle in the City
In March, the Wroclaw Agglomeration Development Agency is opening an information point for foreigners. Its staff will be helping with the formal side of life, such as filling in the applications in Polish offices or schools, or purchasing monthly tickets for public transport. Volunteers will also be assisting in renting out flats or seeking out English-speaking services.
Ewa Kaucz, the head executive of WADA admitted, there were more and more persons not speaking Polish, who required help not only in finalizing all necessary procedures enabling them to live and work in Wroclaw, but also settling in the city.
WADA official pointed that creating info point was necessary due to constantly growing number of companies investing in Wroclaw, who resettle here their foreign employees to train Polish co-workers in new responsibilities.
In 2012 only WADA had served 48 foreign companies interested in establishing their branches or production sites in Wroclaw area, and 22 decided to do settle down in Wroclaw agglomeration.
