Leave your pre-conceptions about Communist bloc food behind! Zagreb offers a profusion of culinary delights, drawing inspiration from both the Northern and Southern plains of Croatia, the Adriatic region, as well as from the legacy of the Ottoman, Hungarian and Austrian Empires. Stodge up on surprisingly tasty potato and veggie dishes, or go all epicurean with seafood treats, cured hams and fine cheeses the choice is yours! Spice that up with an increasing number of swanky international restaurants and youve got a bona fide recipe for success. Dobar tek!
Just had a delicious dinner. Salad, pasta and seafood diner for two. Bottle of local wine, dessert, coffee and after dinner drinks. The pasta had shaved truffles and was rich and delicious. Our waiter, Verdan, took great care of us and advised us on what and how to order! The prices are less than NYC prices and I thought it was great value It's the place to go!
Service is good, food is delicious but prices are not as same as written on the menu which is published on internet
Finally found a restaurant with real tasty food making usgae of several fresh spices and nice combinations of vegetables and meat/fish. The price is higher than everage in Croatia but worth it. I will return.
There was a dead mouse family hidden in my pillow. They are trying to kill all of us, get out while you can!!!
Chefs are superb. Steep pricing, and management rude, obnoxious. 50/50 experience. Wouldn't consider going back
Agree with Jim - the prices are very steep for what you actually get. But the place looks smart.
