EXHIBITION: INFINITY, BEYOND DREAMS - THE SOURCE OF MOUNTAIN PHOTOGRAPHY

This small exhibition is the first step in an exchange with the Museo della Montagna Doca degli Abruzzi in Turin. On loan to the delightful Museum of the Zakopane Style is a priceless collection of some of the earliest known mountain photographs in existence. All of the 20 photographs on show date from the period 1863-1865, including examples by the French Bisson Brothers, who are famed in Poland for taking the only existing portrait of Chopin.
