Pope John Paul II was a much-loved figure in Zakopane. He visited the town many times as pontiff, and as a young man, he was a prolific skier in the region. This tribute concert on the anniversary of his passing is being performed by the Tatra Orchestra. Mozart's timeless Requiem Mass is being played. The concert starts at 7.15 pm.
