Music of the mountains

The craft and cultural traditions of the Zakopane mountain folk are unique in Poland - representing something that is at once essentially Polish but nevertheless distinct.

So this is a great chance to delve into the musical life of the hills, at an exhibition that showcases the instruments of the Podhale region, from the 19th century to the present day. Wind and string instruments are on display, made by hand by the finest craftsmen in the region.
