The latest exhibition at the Tatra Museum is dedicated to Tadeusz Wowkonowicz, a famous pre-WW II cross-country skier, a champion in numerous skiing contests.

After WW II Wowkonowicz remained in France, but maintained his dedication to Poland and Poles, acting as a sports commentator of French sports events to Poland behind the Iron Curtain.
