The latest painting cycle of Anna Schumacher, created during the last five years, is entitled "Cabinet of Curiosities", after a 16th - 17th century rooms filled with the most unusual collections imaginable. These peculiarity troves were a reflection of interests of the contemporary, but also germs of what we know today as a museum.
One way to see the exhbition is through a path of symbols and sacred traditions, with deep blood red, velvet black and fresh blue. The other way to see Schumacher's collection is to perceive it as a story, preserving impressions, experiences and beautiful objects. A story striving to grasp the moment-only flashes of life.
This event happens in The Wladyslaw Hasior Gallery
