The Mastery of Pillow Lace
Fri 17th

Exquisite, yet labour consuming: pillow laces made according to historical projects by Mrs. Magdalena Cieciwa, and exhibited at the Tatra Museum's Villa Oksza are simply something else.
Mrs. Cieciwa, who is a social care worker by profession, has made handicraft and embroidery her greatest hobby, taking tutorials from the best lace-makers in the country and an award-winning craftswoman. Her works have been presented on numerous exhibitions in Poland and abroad.
The Tatra Museum presents Mrs. Cieciwa's lace works re-created from historical Zakopane lace works, some of them a part of the Tatra Museum collection.
