Zakopane to Slovakia
We are in Cracow at the end of May and want to go on to Zakopane and then into Slovakia. We are having great difficulty getting information about public transport across the border. We did get a bus timetable, but the service is suspended between mid-May and mid-June. Can anyone help?

Hello, I found some info which seems to be accurate and up to date. Strama.eu has their services suspended mid-may to mid june for their transport from Zakopane to Slovakia.From the link http://slowacja.hej.pl/slpr.htm , it seems that there are buses from Zakopane bus station two times a day from bus stand/stop number 8 an also 2 returns from Poprad at 11:00, 16:30 (bus stand/stop, in polish :stanowisko number 4).I will check out in coming days if that website gave right info and so if those buses are running ; and will keep you updated.Ogrodygorskie staff of Zakopane

Hello again, it is almost sure that buses between Zakopane and Slovakia are not running after 8 mai until 16 June.However if you wish to go to Slovakia nearby and have your own planning of visits , you may do so by renting a private car in Zakopane or Krakow itself.Hope it helps.
