travel in zakopane

hello,i am french 37 old from the south of country ,and i will come with a friend ( 37 old too ) in zakopane during summer ,from 05/07 to 15/07 , i would like to know if zakopane is a good place for trecking the day , and pubs the evening , and what kind of activities it's possible to do to enjoy during the day .I would know the best plans for party the evening too....bye
