Still think that accommodation in the mountains has to be "quaint?" Think again. The Belvedere offers you world-class standards and top notch service. Don't forget to add to that an awesome view and a whole world of activities. What kind of activities? How about a pool, a spa, squash and saunas to get you started. Actually, you might not want to leave your room... Choose one with a 1920's elegance or go for the unique Zakopane-style. Either way, you're getting heated floors, internet and everything else that comes standard with such a great hotel. Easily the best in town.

We had a very nice weekend at Belvedere hotel. Personnel was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very delicious, you could choose between lots of products. Room was clean, water in swimming pool wasn’t cold – it is important if you want to swim with a small baby.
Zakopane's best hotel without a doubt, though it comes at a fairly hefty price. The rooms were good without being spectacular (though the view was), and the breakfast buffet was the finest we have ever seen or eaten - an absolutely enormous spread of every type of food. Extras are charged at a high rate. We were surprised to be charged for parking even though we paid a lot for the rooms themselves.
This place is a perfect family retreat hotel with spacious rooms and very warm decor. Our kids were enjoying the swimming pool a lot. Breakfast was fantastic and with child friendly menu. Not a bargain price, but in my opinion worth paying a bit extra.
Beautiful, Zakopane-style decor, fantastic swimming pool and spa, just a short distance away from the ski lifts. Our apartment was beautiful!
An excellent hotel. Agree that it is on the expensive side, but we had a great stay. One of the best breakfasts I have ever had in a hotel!
Quite an expensive hotel, but the standard of the rooms was very good. Unfortunately we had horrid weather, but at least there were lots of things to do in the hotel (there are squash courts, two bowling lanes, table football, pool, as well as a great indoor heated swimming pool with slides etc). A bit disappointed that they charged guests 30 zloty per day for parking. I mean, come on! Food is of a very good standard.
Only a very casual restaurant open at the time we were there, and it was full of families with small children. No adult space in the evening for a quiet dinner. But room wasvery nice, breakfast was great and staff very helpful. Also a beautiful indoor pool, spa, workout room, squash courts, etc. They also found us an excellent local English speaking guide to give us a private tour of the surrounding area.
Good architecture and sports facilities, May be the restaurant and bar working hours could be a bit longer.
The staff was service minded and friendly, spoke english well and provided our needs at all times, around the clock. Nice breakfast. The spa had a lot of choises and good prices. All in all a plesant stay.
I recommand this hotel. The staf is very helpful and nice. Everything is new and clean. The hotel is not cheap, but it worth to spend money. There is a very good wellness center in the hotel. But be prepared - 15 minutes walk to the city center, the parking is not free (30zl/day), there is no coffee/tea facilities in the room - that disappointed me.
We found the hotel staff, particularly in Reception, to be fluent in English and incredibly polite and helpful. The rooms were spacious and the hotel has a lovely Polish and yet modern elegance. The breakfasts were fantastic and the buffet lacked nothing. We dined twice in the rooftop restaurant, one time under the stars overlooking the mountains. The food was some of the best we had in Zakopane and was very good value.
First class by any standard. Far better than anything in Krakow. Dining was excellent; service outstanding; rooms very comfortable. Price reasonable.
Wonderful luxury hotel. Not what I was expecting here at all, but we were pleasantly surprised! Zakopane was gorgeous but our room was so nice we didn't want to leave :)
We had a lovely winter break here. Ideal for unwinding after end of year stress. Seems very popular.
No AC in our room...it was August and hot! Small beds, unfriendly staff, terrible massage...but great breakfast buffet
Stayed here during the World Ski Jumping Cup and it was a fantastic base for our stay. Great party spirit at the tournament too. Quite a substantial fitness centre with swimming pool etc. Perfect for our stay.
We certainly got pampered here. And the spa was a fantastic bonus - helped wind down a hectic year!
We stopped at the Belvedere from 18-22 March 2006. We had actually booked thenewlyweds suite which is the one shown above on this page. It had a round bed with canopy (which was so great my husband wants one at home) and large round bath in the bedroom (with an additional bathroom containing toilet, sink and shower) along with a large sitting room with patio doors leading onto a balcony with stunning views. There were plenty of windows if you wanted some additional fresh air (all of which had fantastic views over Zakopane) and you can alter the heating via the radiators. The hotel was spotless, there was 24 hour room service, ski hire, swimming pool, jacuzzi, sauna, beauty rooms. We only ate breakfast at the hotel as we spent most of our time out in the snow. You have nore choice for breakfast if you have room service which only costs an additional 10 zlotys (approx £2) and is well worth it, you can order as much as you want. There is an underground garage if you have a car. The receptionists were helpful enough (they could have been more helpful if they were able to speak better English but this was the only problem we had). I would recommend this hotel and would definitely recommend the newlyweds suite.
This is an expensive but very poor quality hotel. The rooms are ridiculously over-heated and the beds are extremely uncomfortable (short and sagging). Smoking is permitted in all areas of the hotel including the corridors and restaurants. Service was unhelpful, even rude. Never again.
Absolutely superb! We were treated like kings! This hotel simply has to be the best in Zakopane - with an outstanding restaurant and cafe as well. We'll definitely be back.
