Editor's review
Stamary was the pseudonym of a celebrated opera singer, Maria Budziszewska, who went on to found this hotel in Poland's Winter Capital. The building was designed by Eugeniusz Wesolowski, constructed in 1905 using brick rather than wood, which was extremely rare in Zakopane at that time. The hotel offers a variety of different accommodation under its roof, including seven apartments, twenty-five doubles and twelve single rooms. There are also 'family rooms' and studio apartments. Venture into Stamary's basement and you'll discover an appealing swimming pool and spa.

Many possibilities of entertainment in and outside hotel Stamary. Nice bed and view from the balcony. Everything is more than OK, great location. Just some cigarette smoke coming from other rooms and some music from outside the hotel on Sunday night. ( is not far from bus station )
Hi Gale, I was there recently and I got pretty cold in the hotel - it was a bit disappointing, and so I didn't find it very restful ! Opposite is a very nice place - Willa Marilor, which has a far better atmosphere.
Location is perfect, easy to find. he spa facilities were excellent and the staff very professional.
Very stylish place with a true relaxing vibe. Breakfasts were fabulous and plentiful. We fell in love with Zakopane. Alain & Dominique
The twin bedroom was lovely , very large with tv CNN only in english) wardrobe, sofa and very large bathroom. I had a balcony with views of the Tatras. The food was good and abundant with young staff.
What a marvelous place to relax. It is luxourious but without being pompous. It is very upmarket but remains warm and inviting.
Great staff and comfortable hotel. Everything I could have asked for during our winter holiday in Poland!
apparently Sarah Ferguson was also in Zakopane. We didn't see her but we did have a fantastic time!
