Offering a breath of fresh air if you've had your fill of folkish frills, this smart pension provides sleek, contemporary interiors at the foot of the Tatra mountains. 50 beds are up for grabs, in doubles, triples, quadruples and suites. All come with satellite tv and bathroom, and most boast balconies with sweeping views over the highlands. Guests can expect a decidedly more sophisticated gastronomic experience that in your typical pension. On the menu are such tempting dishes as Grilled Norwegian Salmon with Zucchini and Basmati rice, or King Prawns served on oriental vegetables. The staff will answer all your queries on exploring the mountains, and the guests are welcome to use the many sporting facilities - swimming pool, squash court, gym -of neighbouring establishment "Skalny."
