If you are looking for a place to stay in Zakopane that is so much more than a hotel, then you may just have found it in OW Kolejarz.
The resort takes its name from the Polish word for railway - hardly surprising as it is just a stone's throw from the station, and is easy to reach from the bus station too. Right in the heart of town, Kolejarz is just five minutes from Krupowki.
Inside, you will find 233 beds in 114 rooms, and you can choose from one, two and three-bed accommodation, all with bathrooms and TV.
Guests are exceptionally well-catered for, as there is a well-stocked dining room, pool tables, table tennis, beauty salons, solarium, barbecue and wireless internet access. The resort welcomes families, and hosts the special 'Bajlandia' club for younger visitors.
With free, secure and monitored parking, you may just want to leave the car and stay for the duration of your visit to Zakopane.
