Bang in the centre of Zakopane, Seagram has been the starting point for more than one boisterous roister out on the town. Its not the most decorous of bars but this somehow adds to its character, lending it the sort of authentic, local feel that a drinking den needs. Best of all, despite being an Irish bar, Seagram hasn't gone overboard on naff stereotypes. You won't be forced to stare at miniature leprechauns and other trite paddywhackery whilst sipping your pint - or worse still, have to endure a soundtrack of U2, the Cranberries and Sinead O'Connor! What you will have to do however is drink the best Guinness in town. Ain't life a bitch?

Hello. I visited Seagram pub on Sunday evening the 11th of Feb with my fiance. We were very dissapointed: they had no Murphy's (in spite of big sign in front of the door saying they do one), we ordered Guiness and receieved...Guiness-like drinks in lager glasses which-and that will be the worst- were full up to 2/3. The barmaid explained that this is the way they serve it (in Poland, normally you get lager, smooth or bitter in 0,5 liter glasses, and that's normal to expect it). SHocking for me was the behavoiur of this barmaid. she took the money from us and we had never seen any change: she too the tip just like that without asking... it was equal of 2 lagers- we didn't feel like tippind her that much. Because she was staying at the bar surrounded with her friends, we didn't feel like going and asking her for our change. Music was horrible, felt like in the techno club- no "ambiance" at all. Well, that was first and the last time we visited the place. Shame. If not- we loved every single place we went to in Zakopane, and mountains were- as usual- fabulous. Will visit town for the fourth time next year!

I'm coming over for skiing within a few weeks with my familiy and friends. I was wondering or we can watch Champions League football on Tuesday 20th February. On ITV4 is the match PSV Eindhoven against Arsenal. We'd like to see this match and we'd be very nice costumers in your pub. Can you arrange the match on television in the pub? Thanks a lot!
