Poles have a sweet tooth and there's nothing they like more than chomping on a chunky piece of cake. Here's a fine place to begin your adventure into Polish sweets. Their terrace is the biggest in town, replete with a glass roof for cosy winter evenings. The Highlanders also have a penchant for alcoholic beverages, so it should come as no surprise to discover that the magic ingredient in 'Highlander tea' is vodka. Excellent. The accompanying Hotel Sabala is one of the most famous in Zakopane.
