Situated in the heart of the lively Krupowki Street, Karcma Po Zboju guarantees fantastic food, a cosy atmosphere and hearty service. Here you can soak up the classic regional style, and you'll be looked after by ladies (and lads) in Highlander costume. If that wasn't enough, local bands will be playing mountain melodies each and every night. There are two rooms to enjoy, complimented by a small garden that comes into its own in summer. You can savour many local and Old Polish dishes, not least the chef's speciality - golonka (pork knuckles). Smacznego!

Bardzo fajna restauracja
Przyjemny wystroj, bardzo smaczne jedzenie, mila obsluga i goralska kapela umilajaca czas.
Polecam!!!
Lokal o niesamowitym wystroju oraz przepysznym jedzonku. Kapela zbujnicka pelen profesjonalizmu, sama przyjemność dla ucha. Na duży plus zasługuje również obsługa lokalu
Restauracja rewelacja !! Tymbardziej, że widać jak panowie na grillu przygotowują pyszne jedzonko !! Magda Gessler przy Was wysiada chłopaki, jesteście wspaniali !
I like it.... szczególnie te blondynki, które robią najlepsze sałatki w mieście , gorąco polecam !
Always my favorite place in Zakopane. I wouldn't recommend Krupowki for dining in general - except for this great place. The other one which is a must in Zakopane is Gazdowka restaurant, and also for drinking and partying, try Chata Zboja on Jagielonska Street.
How many times have you been to zakopane? I am travilling to Poland for the first time. We are a family of five. Our kids are 20, 18 and 16. how long do you usually stay. Can you indicate what the snow will be like around New Years Eve? I know falls will vary season to season but we are worried that there may not be enough cover so early in the season. thoughts? I assume you go to zakopane to ski, and wonder what the slopes are like? How long are the runs? Difficulty level? I can not find a pieste map for the area online. do you know of a site I can get one from? Have you skied in other eastern european countries? If yes, how did they compare? Poland is our first country, we are going to Slovakian High Tatras also but I am having difficulty on finding concise information about ski areas plus travelling there. I imagine that we will travel by bus but dont know whether they will run late New Years Day and whether we have to change bus companies at the border. I have sent alot of emails and am yet to receive replies! we are also going to Romania and Bulgaria before travelling back by train via switzerland to uk. I am an intermediate skier by australian standards as is my youngest however husband and two elder children are more advanced. My husband had no trouble on difficult runs at St Anton/Lech 2005. I know Australian slopes dont compare to europe however wonder whether we should stick to other activities here such as ski mobile/sled etc we only have couple of days and I have read lines to lifts can be bad!!! Have you been recently and have there been upgrades in lifts? You say you wouldnt recommend Krupowki what Is it??? is it the name of an area or street??? Is this restaurant very expensive? Do you need to book in advance? you mention Gazdowka also, what is it that you like about these places particularly, food, price, the atmosphere, location or all of these things. Dress code? We are covering alot of ground so aren't bringing any flash clothing, would this be an issue? is ski gear cheap to buy in eastern europe? You recommend Chata Zboja for partying, what kind of age bracket is this suitable for? Mixed crowd? Wondering whether they would allow my 16yr old daughter in as we are there for NYE and although she isnt drinking yet she is very keen to go dancing. thoughts and any recommendations? I'd really appreciate your advise!
I recommend this restaurant because it is the best in Zakopane. Excellent service with kind staff and excellent meals. Bravo for Karcma Po Zboju!
A very nice, charming place with fire place and wood decor in "Zakopane-style". Excellent traditional Polish food, Okocim beer, folk-music, quick service. Lovely!
This was a treat for my family and me. We enjoyed so very much the costumes and the wood decor. We felt as if we were back in time.
I can't find the restaurant I enjoyed the most. Zabi Dwor. Maybe you should add it? This one was ok though. A typical Zakopane style tavern.
