Karczma Bacowka is one of the most popular Polish restaurants on Zakopane's famous Krupowki Street. Here you'll find all the favourite dishes served up with a style only the highlanders can summon. Expect plenty of waiters, beautifully-dressed in highlander costume, hurrying around to bring you an excellent array of fresh food, and the occasional mountain singing group to keep up the good cheer with Zakopane's distinctive and rousing close-harmony vocal music. Order up the beers, take your pick from the extensive menu, and set out on a culinary expedition!

This is about as good as it gets. Big portions, excellent hearty food (and the beer ain't bad neither!). When we were there we also got to enjoy a little bit of Highlander singing. Nothing helps with digestion like the half-sung, half-yelled belts of someone who's spent their entire life in the mountains... Absolutely awesome.
