Zakopane's train station is a fairly low key affair, but there are indeed regular trains to many destinations, including Krakow and Warsaw. If you're carrying heavy luggage, you may want to take a taxi to your next port of call. But if it's just a backpack on your shoulders, the walk into the centre only takes about ten minutes. There's a waiting room and a couple of shops, but otherwise there's not a huge amount going on here. Expect to be greeted by some cheerful grandmas offering bed and board at reduced prices. The main bus station is located next door.

Zakopane railway station is finally receiving the much awaited complete refurbishment , also the new road structure from Kraków to Zakopane . This new layout is a huge investment and a massive piece of engineering . The new road and rail network feature huge pillars and tunnels cutting through the mountains. It's due to be completed next year . This is truelly a magnificent piece of engineering
No, it's a dead end. You must go back to go forward or catch random busses from village to village.
Train is interesting, modern and cheap, and you can getup and walk around. It cost £40 for 5 people. If you are a student, remember student ID.
