Well, let's be honest - Zimbabwe doesn't currently receive the finest press and it is not exactly your tip-of-the-tongue travel destination, but that doesn't do justice to the bigger picture. Zimbabwe has a great deal to offer the traveller - from the jaw-dropping scenery of the Victoria Falls, to the sweeping grandeur of the Lower Zambezi and Mana Pools, the misty mountains of the Vumba (some great golfing to be enjoyed there!) to the rugged and hot Gonarezhou National Park, Zimbabwe is blessed with a beauty and variety of landscape that is hard to rival. But that, of course, is only part of the story. Zimbabwe is above all, a land of people. It's history has been troubled, but Zimbabweans are friendly, welcoming and fiercely proud of their country.
